Ingredients

The ONLY water-based woodfiller. Contains NO acrylic, latex or harmful ingredients. Spread & thin with water.

May contain latex or acrylic.

Applications for Use

Woodfiller, grain filler, trowelable filler, sanding sealer, & crack filler.

Only as a woodfiller. You’ll need to spend more money buying separate products for the other uses.

Product Life

INDEFINITE SHELF LIFE. NO WASTE. If Timbermate dries out, add  water to soften.

Others harden and need to be thrown away. You lose money.

Durability

Will NOT shrink, sink, crack, or fall out. Acts like wood.

Other fillers often shrink, sink, crack, & fall out.

Easy to Sand

Easy to sand. Will not blind sandpaper. Add water to excess dust to reconstitute.

Others do not sand well, and the excess dust is wasted.

Stain Compatibility

Accepts ALL TYPES of coatings, stains, & colors. May be stained when dry, or just add stain to woodfiller.

Others cannot do so.

Packaging and Storage

Comes in economical tubs. You can always see how much you’re getting. If you take out too much, merely return excess to tub.

Fillers packed in tube cannot be squeezed back in tube if need be. The excess is thrown away, so you lose money. Plus, in most tubes you can’t see how much product you’re receiving.

Grain Filler

A sanding sealer & grain filler all in one! Will not blind the grain.

Others cannot do so.

Value and Cost

Timbermate is CHEAPER per square foot than any other product!

All other fillers are MORE EXPENSIVE per square foot than Timbermate!

Drying Time

Drying time varies due to application. Since Timbermate is non-flammable, it can be force dried using a heat gun, lights, etc.

Cannot be force dried.

Heat and Cold Resistant

Will not burn. If tub freezes it will thaw (unlimited).

Will freeze and burn. Will not thaw without harm to the product.

Interior Grade

Ideal for interior floors, walls, paneling, antiques, painting, & cabinet making.

We offer 21 colors from Australian cypress to walnut, thus giving you a good spread of interchangeable colors.
